History of the Alamo City Nupes
The San Antonio Alumni Chapter (SAAC) was the third chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity chartered within the Southwestern Province. The Alamo City Nupes have hosted the Texas-New Mexico Kappa Caucus, Southwestern Province Councils, and a Grand Chapter Conclave in 1939. The home of the Alamo City Nupes is located at 1145 Virginia Boulevard, San Antonio, Texas. The house was built in 1905 and subsequently two of the upstairs bedrooms were combined to form the main meeting room used for monthly Chapter and Board of Directors meetings, as well as, for the meetings of SAAC’s several standing committees. The SAAC business office and a sitting room for Life Members are also located on the second floor.
